Bonjour!

Sorry I haven't written these past few days, but things are starting to get crazy. I leave in 5 days, so I have to pack, do a 3-page paper about a book I haven't started, go to the dentist, and find time to say good-bye to my family and friends...

But that's not why I'm writing! I wanted to share with you all my new project: teaching myself to read in french! Right now I have beside me Les Quatre Filles Du Docteur March and a french- portuguese dictionary. I thought Little Women would be a good book to begin with, seeing as I have it in both English and Portuguese. Also, it is one of my favorite books ever, so I hope it keeps me entertained in French as well!

I know French might not be the most useful language, but I think it absolutely beautiful!

Well, that's all for today! =)

12 days till I'm back at LU!

And the countdown is on! 11 days till I leave, 12 days till I'm there! Can't wait! Not so excited about classes, but it'll be great to see everyone again!

Sorry for my absence the last few days, but life has been somewhat dull... I did get to see some friends from high school Sunday, so that was fun!

But other than that, the only thing I can think of to tell you all is something from my pilates workout. Those big pilates balls, that seem harmless in comparison to the other torture equipments you'll find in a pilates studio, absolutely hate me, and it is a mutual feeling! They'd literally fall and run away from me! That, or they'd fall on my head! But even then I got a great ab workout from laughing so much at it!

Anyway, by that you can tell how uneventful my break is!

Hope y'all are having a great week!

I feel old... in a good way!

I just came back from my friends' engagement party, and I must say, that makes me feel sorta old in a good way! They're my first close friends around my age (they are 3 years older than me) to get engaged, so it was a little weird... It made me realize how the past couple of years flew by! But I was so moved to see a couple whose story I have witnessed from the very beginning take this step! I wish them every happiness in the world!!!

Well, that's all I wanted to share today!
